Hey there! I’m Randi, a hairstylist with a decade of experience, and my journey in the beauty industry has been nothing short of an adventure. I kicked off my career after graduating from Polytech, diving headfirst into the world of hairstyling. However, my path took a detour as I explored various other careers before realizing that my true passion was behind the salon chair.
In October 2023, I embraced a significant milestone by becoming the proud owner of the Upper Cut Salon and Spa. Returning to my roots in hairstyling, I’m thrilled to bring my skills and passion to a place I now call my own. Creating beautiful hair isn’t just a job for me; it’s a craft I take immense pride in. Beyond that, I’m equally passionate about fostering a fantastic work environment for my team. I believe that when we love what we do and where we do it, the results speak for themselves.
Outside the salon, you’ll find me savoring my sacred free time. Whether it’s soaking up sun rays, enjoying date nights with my husband, playing monster trucks with my son, or cuddling with my two furry pups, I cherish every moment. Life is a blend of artistry and personal connections, and I’m grateful to be able to weave both into the tapestry of my everyday existence.

With sixteen years experience, she specializes in women’s cuts, multidimensional color and highlighting. She has also received advanced training from Goldwell, Redken, Paul Mitchell and Schwarzkopf. She is certified in Keratin complex smoothing treatments as well as Brazilian Blowout. Ronni is also trained in bridal design and special occasion makeup.

I have experience in working with diverse hair types, from luxurious long locks to bouncy curls or sleek straight hair. I believed understanding my client’s unique needs, preferences, and goals is the foundation for creating exceptional results. With meticulous attention to detail, I strive to deliver technically precise cuts, hairstyles, and color services that are perfectly tailored to each individual.

Hi, I’m Lexi, I studied esthetics at the Delaware Learning Institute. Although I’m new to the skincare world, I’m a familiar face at The Upper Cut, having started as an assistant. I take pride in assisting clients with their skincare needs and am available for appointments on Tuesdays, Fridays and alternate Saturdays. Looking forward to bringing my passion for skincare to The Upper Cut!

Sherry has been a licensed cosmetologist for over 30 years and has been with The Upper Cut for 31 years. She studied at the American Crew Academy in Boulder, Co., Aveda Congress in New York City, as well as, attended various advanced education classes in cutting and coloring with Aveda, Tigi, Goldwell, Redken, Wella, Matrix, Unite, Joico, and Paul Mitchell. She also attended personal cutting classes with Nick Arrojo, motivational and customer service classes and seminars with Geno Stampora. Sherry specializes in multi-dimensional highlighting, color, precision cuts. She is certified in Keratin Complex Smoothing Treatment. She is in the process of completing The Mastery Series with Aveda Education.

Hey everyone, I’m Lauren! In addition to training at Shilling Douglas, I hold certifications in Keratin and curly hair, and am constantly evolving with Aveda’s latest techniques,
I’m all about pushing creative boundaries. From creating stunning blondes to crafting dimensional colors and unique cuts for both men and women, Beyond hairstyling, I’m eager to connect with clients and make each visit a personalized and experience - looking forward to seeing you soon!

Andrea has over 25 years of experience, and is a former salon owner. She specializes in texturized cutting, and custom color techniques. She is certified with DreamCatchers Extensions and Keratin Complex Smoothing Treatments. She received her education from Schilling Douglas, and attended Delaware College of Arts & Design as well as Aveda and Tigi extended education courses. She is currently one of our Aveda Ambassadors working to promote team engagement with special focus on business and education for our team. Andrea has also completed The Mastery Series with Aveda Education.
